CEEPUS: What's in a name?

CEEPUS is an acronym for "Central European Exchange Program for University Studies".

The main activity of CEEPUS are university networks operating joint programs ideally leading to Joint Degrees, esp. Joint Doctoral Programs. CEEPUS covers mobility grants for students and teachers in this framework.

About the CEEPUS Network "Ethics and Politcs in the European Context":

In the academic year 2011/2012 the Network "Ethics and Politics in the European Context" was founded by the Department of Social Ethics, Faculty of Catholic Theology at the Univeristy of Vienna (o. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ingeborg Gabriel) within the "Network of Social Ethicists in Central Europe".
