Abstrakt

Taking the central socio-economic Topic of ecology as an example and the Encyclical "Laudato si'" as a Basis, this article Shows how Roman-Catholic and Orthodox methods and content complement each other. Apart from this, it also poses the question of why it is that in times of big social crises in Europe the ecumenical collaboration an advocacy of the revival of the ecumenical, synodical procedure.
